June 28th CIRO Meeting

Directors Present: Lucy, Rob M, Cam, Sarah
(Bud sent notification that he couldn’t attend)
Members: Rob C, Blair
-Lucy presented business cards, posters and everyone made comments
-Lucy noted not a lot of new volunteers
-Lucy stated she would head up Student Club in fall
-Rob M stressed need for submission to SU for creation of student club
-Rob July 11th meeting with Students Union to discuss club and station
-Cam asked Rob to put money into account to open bank account
-Cam suggested membership forms need to be created and cards for members
-Cam stated need for creation of membership list and that it be kept at CIRO office
-Rob highlighted need for office material
-Cam and Sarah stated they would like to see office
-Rob Contact Tammy at Phoneix to access office during business hours
-Rob Radio Club in debt – need $300
-Lucy like to promote but need money
-Pamphlet recommended to build recognition of project
-Rob C creating Business Plan
-Business plan needs to be filled in – Amanda started it - Cam pass on available info
-Rob C will be point man on business plan so e-mail him info
-Everyone write bio to go with plan
-Sarah developing line up for fundraisers at Grateful Fed
-Bud contacted to create press releases
-Sarah do web releases
-Look at promotions like t-shirts and re-create phone tree
-Stream – still looking for scheduling program
-home set up for programmers
-Lucy develop guide to make show at home
-Look at ftp site for uploading shows
