Prior Actions

Amanda brought in a sample budget she received. It contained an overview of an FM station set up in BC. Amanda had spoken with two stations.

Cam brought in a sample budget from recent Alberta FM set up as well. He also spoke with two stations.

Rob has been working on internet radio.

Rob C has collected information on Industry Canada and has made some contacts.

Issues raised at meeting

FM Radio over 50 watts has been advised by most sources.

Rob has asked for consideration for a stipend or wage for the manager of the internet station.

Someone needs to look at sample budgets and create a draft budget for us.

An engineering firm in Manitoba has been recommended by several sources for the formulation of the Engineering Report.

Communications on the internet station will wait until the station is up and running and stable.

The Kamloops station has invited us for a tour of their facilities.

Exploring the formation of a society was discussed.

Rob asked for a blank copy of the CRTC form.

Action Items

Everyone at meeting very busy for next few months with school and work. The Kamloops tour will probably be on a weekend sometime in the next few months. No specific action items recommended but information gathering still a premium. If anyone has time and would like to go over finances please let the group know.
