The National Community and Campus Radio Association website has info on meeting CRTC requirements.

I guess a pretty important question will be whether we should go Campus or Community? A better question may be what the hell is the difference? Better make some phone calls.

The Beginning by Cam

This blog will show updates to interested people about our quest to bring campus/community radio to the Okanagan. This will be a titanic effort bringing together Okanagan University College students and local community members.

Currently we have a fledgling online radio station at http://www.d8kstudios.com/oucradio/

To move into broadcasting we will have to deal with the CRTC http://www.crtc.gc.ca/eng/INFO_SHT/b313.htm
and Industry Canada http://www.ic.gc.ca/cmb/welcomeic.nsf/ICPages/SubjectSpectrum#certification

Nobody knows what the hell we are doing but that makes it all the more fun. Rock on.
