Cam's Idea of Board Structure

One Admin from UBC-O (have spoken with Scott Macrae)
One Student Union member from UBC-O (they can appoint)
President of University Radio Club (a student decided by club)
One Student Rep (student voted on at AGM)
Three Society Members (community or student representing the interests of the members voted on at AGM)

Sarah's Long PS

PS as far as suggestions go, (I assume for the sitting
positions until the first AGM) I would recommend that
Chris Cleaver (CHBC), Bob Gablehouse (audio
engineering instructor and sound engineer at OUC) are
on the "Society Reps" (they've both expressed an
interest. As for a third, perhaps a promotions
person, such as myself, Jayme or Tanna from CATO (that
way we'll also have representation from 2 other
colleges, as well as one local media person). Or you
or Rob if one of you isn't a student. (in the case
that you or Rob needed a position, I'd say leave Bob
out of it, cos Chris has way more interest anyway...)

As for President, I imagine you, Rob or Shane (unless
some of you are no longer students...)

For Student Rep, I'd recommend Shane, Stacey, Lucy, or
the other Rob...not sure again who is still a
"student" at UBC-O.

So...I imagine a monthly commitment to meetings, with
some additional work is needed. And how does all that
fit in with the other society members (like Treasurer,
Secretary, Pres, Vice Pres, etc.)? I guess i'm a
little ignorant on how these things work. Are those
positions picked from the list of "voted" individuals?
Or is that a seperate thing?

thanks for your patience with me,
sincerely,
sarah!
